History awaits you inside the Main Aviary at the Bird Kingdom....discover the125 year old, entirely hand carved, solid teak wood, Nobleman's house from the Island of Java circa 1875.
Enjoy exotic coffee's, tea's, iced drinks and light meals as the Javanese aristocrats used this "Dalem" in years gone by.
This one of a kind structure has been reassembled according to ancient, old world tradition and is the only structure of it's kind, fully assembled, in North America and quite possibly the world. Many of these old homes were discarded during the modernization of Indonesia and Java.
Inside the Javanese House you will see intricate, hand carved detailing, antiques and quaint live exhibits.

Sunshine Banquet Room
Overlooking the Niagara Gorge and Falls view area, our "Sunshine" banquet room is a one of a kind venue featuring knee to ceiling arched windows, antique lighting and original, 100 year old wood floors.
